where to eat in cabanatuan

Not only does Microtel Cabanatuan have a pool, it also has a top-notch in-house restaurant that serves a fanfare of tasty and elegant dishes.

Bistro 360 is a popular venue for celebration among Novo Ecijano's. In fact, when we dined there, there was a low-key birthday celebration happening right across our table. What's interesting was we didn't feel like we were intruding. The place is inclusive, and cozy too.

The restaurant isn't large but it seems just the right size for its patrons. The lighting is very romantic and intimate, but the overall ambiance is very easy-going. A chill kind of place really.

A combination of Oriental and Western dishes graced our tabletops that evening. We had the Oriental Chicken Salad (Php187), Sizzling Rib Fingers (Php400), Lechon Kawali with Laing (Php245), and a Joaquin panizza (Php410).

Everything was good but I especially loved the Lechon Kawali, but then again, it's me – I love pork!

I did also enjoy the panizza. All of us did, actually. We loved the novelty of rolling the strip of dough over a clump of alfalfa and drizzling it with sriracha, so much so that we ordered another one.

This time, though, we opted for the Five-cheese (Php440) variant.

It had mozzarella, cheddar, Parmesan, white cheese, and blue cheese. It tasted like all that's good in this world. No kidding! It was a little tangy and a bit earthy. Full of flavors from the quintet of dairy goodness. It was a great ending to our meal. I was very happy.

Here's the thing: serving could take a while in Bistro 360, but you never really mind it because the food is simply delicious. Plus, the atmosphere make it easy to have meaningful conversations with your companions, or to just relax when you're by yourself.

One thing I personally love is the quick water refills. The staff seem to be always on guard, arriving right in time with a pitcher of water.

To be honest, the servings are a small and the menu a bit pricey, but I do believe Bistro 360 is a worthy splurge. If I live in Cabanatuan or anywhere close by, I would definitely bring my family here, or even celebrate a special occasion by wolfing an entire panizza!
