things to do in baguio

Baguio's landscape is made even more interesting by pockets of spooky locations. That afternoon, our first destination in the City of Pines was the Laperal White House. It was my first time here. In fact, I haven't heard about the place until then. It was apparently notorious for being haunted. I took one look and I thought it looked more melancholic than eerie. All-white facade, and framed with trees. It sported a look of dejection. Of resignation. Like it had given up.

"No more," it seemed to sigh in the cold, foggy air.

I wanted to give it a hug.
