April 13, 2014

Seated on the summit of Mt. Gonzales, a remnant of the extravagance of the Marcos era, the People's Park in the Sky - or simply, People's Park - is another popular Tagaytay attraction. The park was meant to be a mansion commissioned by Imelda Marcos which was then dubbed as the Palace in the Sky.

Also located on this area is the Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love...

and a Doppler weather radar maintained by the PAGASA.

We went here after my First Summit. My senses were on high because of consecutive exposure to amazing views.

Cheers to the next adventure!
